Dates to Remember

Orientation - This is where you learn about the campaign strategy and review your six calls. 4 dates available:
#1Tues Feb 9: Worker Orientation, 8:30 am, Cultural Center for the Arts (Please look for room signs)
#2 Wed Feb 10: Worker Orientation, 8:30 am, Cultural Center for the Arts (Please look for room signs)
#3Thur Feb 11: Worker Orientation, 8:30 am, Cultural Center for the Arts (Please look for room signs)
#4 Fri Feb 12: Worker Orientation, 12 noon, Cultural Center for the Arts (Please look for room signs)

Fund Drive Kick-Off - Friday, March 5th from 5:30-6:30 pm at the Canton Palace Theatre
Each year we kick off the public part of the campaign with a party that includes  live performances, food, and drink.

Mid Campaign Report Meeting - Wednesday, April 28 from 8:30-9:30 am at the Cultural Center for the Arts

A mid-point strategy session for how we wrap up.

Victory Event - Wednesday, May 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm - Location TBA
We celebrate our success and hand out awards.

In 2010 we will:
1. Invest $960,000 in Canton Ballet, Canton Museum of Art, Canton Palace Theatre, Canton Symphony, Massillon Museum, Players Guild Theater and Voices of Canton.
2. Award $150,000 in grants to 70 smaller Stark County non-profits and artists.
3. Begin the 20/20 Vision Cultural Planning process for the County.
4. Keep putting the arts back into our downtowns, our schools, and our neighborhoods.
5. Support programs that reach 200,000 people in every neighborhood in Stark County.
6. Help Stark County re-position itself as an innovative place poised for a great future.
