Grants in Action
- Celebrating the Arts and Remembering a Friend.
Combining traditional visual arts and uplifting contemporary music was the healing message and evening of remembrance for Alliance high school, as they remembered a fallen classmate through a program called "Celebrate the Arts." A member of the 2007 Jetsetters show choir, Alison Draves had choreographed some of the numbers, including those from High School Musical and Wicked, that were performed, in her honor as they group performed for their school and community. In addition to the Jetsetter performance, a showcase of clay art pieces, fashioned in the style of the Oaxacan wood carvers, graced the show cases of the school.
